Often people do not pay attention while entering name or address in the application form. Some words are misspelled. Due to which the information in the application form does not match with the information recorded in the document. And due to this the application gets rejected.
There is a provision for punishment if wrong information is given
Let us tell you that if you intentionally give wrong information in the passport application. Then you may have to face trouble. By doing this, you may have to pay a fine up to 10 times. Which can range from Rs 500 to Rs 5000. Therefore, never intentionally fill wrong information in the application.
